We all have dream destinations that we wanted to visit at least once in our life. Some of these places are the once we included in our so-called bucket list that we are eager to cross out soon. While others have already explored the world, sadly, some people can only dream about these places.

When I was little, I dreamed of traveling the whole world. Socializing with other people, learning other cultures, and trying different delicacies. And like any other human being, I dreamed of going to Paris, the city of love. Cliché as it seems, but Paris always has a special place in my heart. Maybe it’s because when I hear about ‘Paris’, I always had that idea of it being the most romantic city in the world and the “city for lovers”. Paris is known to be the “City of Love” because it is the place that you would want to visit the most when you are in love. Certainly, many couples visit Paris and return engaged because Paris is looked upon as the ideal place to propose marriage.

To be honest, I do not even know what is with that place that whenever I hear about it, my heart would skip a beat. Is it the famous Eiffel Tower built by Sauvestre, Koechlin, and Nouguier? The Arc de Triomphe that honors those who fought and died for France in the French Revolution? The Louvre Museum, which is the largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris? The Sainte-Chapelle, a royal chapel in the Gothic style? Or the Love Locks at Pont des Arts bridge? Well, whatever the reason is, Paris is always a good idea – Audrey Hepburn.

But let’s be realistic, if I may not be able to see Paris, it will always be enchanting to me. However, I promise myself that I will do my best to see this amazing place. And if that day comes, I’ll consider myself fortunate.
